#Before you start a call
Open the chat you want to continue. In the screenshot below, click the green phone icon in the chat header to start Voice Call. Your browser must allow the microphone — headphones help with privacy and feedback.
Voice calls continue the context of the current chat, so choose the thread you actually want to speak in before you begin.
Start point: Voice Call in the active chat header
Open the exact chat whose context you want to continue aloud before selecting the call control.Live state labels: Connecting, Listening, Speaking
Listening means the microphone is ready. Speaking means the character response is in progress.- Open the correct chat and click the green phone icon in the header.
- Allow microphone access when your browser asks.
- Check that your microphone is not being used by another app.
- End the call with the red hang-up control when you are finished.
#During the call
Once the call is live, the screenshot below shows what to watch: the state label (Connecting, Listening, or Speaking), the timer, and any live caption text.
Use the microphone button to mute yourself. Click the large red hang-up button when you are finished. Speak naturally and give the system a moment to finish a response before you interrupt.
Current token rate: 10 tokens per minute
The call meter calculates the cost from elapsed seconds, rounded to one decimal token.Automatic end threshold: Projected balance at or below 0.2 tokens
The call flow can end before the next charge when the projected combined balance reaches that safety threshold.Read the call state before you troubleshoot
The label narrows the problem. Do not repeatedly press Voice Call when the product has opened a balance or access prompt instead of a call.
| State | What it means | Your useful next action |
|---|---|---|
| Connecting | The session is opening and the voice channel is being established. | Wait for the state to change. If it does not, refresh and verify microphone permission. |
| Listening | Your microphone is ready for input. | Speak naturally, or use mute if you need privacy. |
| Speaking | The character's response is being played or generated. | Let the response finish before troubleshooting the microphone. |
| Upgrade or top-up prompt | The current access or balance check did not allow a call to start. | Review the live requirement, then return to the chat instead of retrying the same button. |
#If a call does not start
First, refresh the chat and confirm browser microphone access. Then check that you have a stable connection and that no other call or recording app has locked the microphone. If the problem continues, capture a non-sensitive screenshot of the error state and use FAQ & Support.
#Read the state label before troubleshooting
Connecting means the session is starting. Listening means the microphone is ready for you. Speaking means the character response is in progress. If the product opens a top-up or upgrade prompt instead of starting a call, do not retry the button. Review the current access or balance first, then return to the chat.
