Chat Basics

The quality of a conversation improves when you give it direction. Say what matters, correct what does not fit, and use separate chats for separate dynamics.

#Give the conversation a usable signal

A good message names the immediate situation and the response you want. Specificity helps more than length.

The screenshot below is a normal open chat: the thread sits above, and everything you send goes through the bottom composer. If a reply misses the point, say so plainly — you do not need to restart every time a message is imperfect.

Text route: Write a message + send arrow

Use it to give the character a clear request, correction, preference, or change of pace.

Tribute route: Send Tribute

It opens a picker. Tokens are attached to the draft only after you make a selection.

#Use separate chats to protect context

Open a new chat when you want a different character, topic, or style of interaction. This gives each conversation room to develop without mixing unrelated context. It is also the cleanest way to experiment while preserving an earlier conversation you want to keep.

Return to the chat list whenever you want to pick up a previous conversation. The chat title and character association help you find the right thread.

#Expand the conversation when it makes sense

When you want a live spoken interaction, look at the chat header in the screenshot below and click the green phone icon to start Voice Call. Allow microphone access when the browser asks.

Use memory when you want to understand what carries forward, and the Image Studio when you want visuals. A focused text conversation is still a complete experience on its own.

#The composer is a workflow switchboard, not one button

In the screenshot below, the sparkle icon is Generate Images — it opens Image Studio; it does not attach an image to the message. The gift icon is Send Tribute — it stages tokens first, then shows a removable attached block.

A normal message uses only the text field and the red send arrow.

Creation route: Generate Images

This leaves the composer workflow and opens the studio with the chat's character context.

Voice entry: Voice Call in an active chat header

It is separate from the composer and starts a live call flow for that chat.

Common questions

Quick answers

Should I make a new chat or continue an existing one?

Continue when you want the same character and conversation context. Start a new chat when you want a distinct dynamic or topic.

What should I do if a reply is not the tone I wanted?

State the correction directly and simply. Explain the tone, pace, or direction you want instead.

Does Send Tribute charge immediately?

No. It stages the tribute in the composer so you can review or remove it before sending.

Where is Voice Call?

Voice Call is in the active chat header when the chat is ready for calls.

Why start a new thread?

It prevents a different topic or character dynamic from mixing with the existing conversation context.

Where can I confirm the current cost or access requirement?

Open the exact feature you want to use. The live call, task, image, or chat flow shows the current requirement before you confirm an action.

How do I preserve a conversation before trying something different?

Leave the current conversation intact and start a separate chat or workflow when the product provides that option. Do not use a wipe or delete control just to change direction.

What should I do when the guide says a button should exist but I cannot see it?

Check that you are in the correct screen and account state first. If it is still absent, contact support with the feature name and a cropped screenshot of the visible controls.

Can I use these features without sharing personal details?

Yes. Give only the context needed for the interaction. Avoid putting private identifiers, financial details, or other sensitive information into messages or screenshots.
