Tokens & Billing

How Tokens Work

Tokens are the account balance used for eligible product features. The live balance is the number to trust, because it reflects purchases, subscription grants, and current use.

#Your available balance can include two sources

Mistress.to can combine purchased tokens with subscription tokens when showing what is available to use. Purchased tokens are top-ups you have bought. Subscription tokens come with an active plan.

Open Subscriptions & Tokens in the screenshot below to see plans and purchase choices when you need more balance.

Usable balance: Purchased tokens + subscription tokens

The combined total is what the product uses to decide whether an eligible action can begin.

New free account grant: 10 tokens

The one-time free-signup grant is separate from later daily refill behavior.

Where the balance comes from and where it goes

Feature screens remain the authority for the current action cost. This table explains account behavior, not a promise that every feature is available to every account.

Token sourceHow it enters the accountHow it is used
Subscription tokensGranted with an eligible subscription or lifetime monthly grant.Spent before purchased tokens when an action uses tokens.
Purchased tokensAdded by a successful one-time top-up or qualifying purchase flow.Used after the subscription-token bucket for the same action.
Free signup grantAdded once when a free account is created.Contributes to the same usable combined balance.
Free daily refillRaises a free account's purchased-token balance to five when it is below five.Does not raise an already-higher balance.

#Use the live interface for feature costs

Some features use tokens, including visual creation and voice features. Costs, available options, and account eligibility are presented in the relevant flow before you complete an action. This prevents a guide from becoming a stale price list when products change.

Before starting a call or a generation, check the balance and the cost shown in that screen. If your balance is low, use the link to subscriptions or token top-ups instead of trying to repeat a failed action.

Spend order: Subscription tokens are debited first

If the action costs more than that bucket, the remaining amount comes from purchased tokens.

Free daily floor: Free users are refilled to 5 purchased tokens

The refill occurs only when the purchased-token balance is below five, so it adds the difference rather than stacking indefinitely.
Why this guide does not hardcode every cost

Feature pricing can change. The product screen and billing page always show the current amount before you confirm.

#When your balance is low

When you need more balance without changing your plan, open Subscriptions & Tokens and scroll to Token Top-ups in the screenshot below. Click the buy control on the package you want.

For plan changes, use Plans & Top-Ups. Do not share balance or invoice screenshots publicly.

Common questions

Quick answers

Are purchased and subscription tokens separate?

They are separate account sources that contribute to the usable combined balance.

Why should I trust the feature screen over an older screenshot?

The live feature flow shows the current amount and eligibility immediately before confirmation.

Where do I get more tokens?

Open Subscriptions & Tokens or follow the relevant top-up prompt.

Where do I find the current price, balance, or eligibility?

Use the live feature and checkout screens. They show the current token cost, plan quote, payment options, and account eligibility before an action is confirmed.

Should I rely on an old payment or pricing screenshot?

No. Prices, invoice instructions, and account eligibility can change. Use the current page in your account before you purchase or send a payment.

What payment details should never appear in a support screenshot?

Remove wallet addresses, QR codes, invoice or transaction IDs, amounts, dates, balances, emails, and any account identifiers unless official support explicitly asks for a specific item.

What is the safe next step when a payment or balance does not look right?

Do not create duplicate purchases or reuse payment details. Follow the product's transaction-specific route, then contact support with the minimal non-sensitive information needed to investigate.
